Publishing An E-zine Can Be Advantageous And It's Easy

A lot of online marketers publish Ezines. It gives them exposure and it's always good to have your very own publication.

It's not that hard to publish one to begin with - you don't need to invest on a machine or publication system as you would in the real world of the brick and mortar business.

A computer, internet access, word processing program and the drive to write is all you need to start your own Ezine publication.

You can do a lot simply from the comfort of your own living room, or bedroom, or even swimming pool - for the latter just don't drop your laptop into the water or goodbye your electronic toy, not to mention everything else that's in there.

After your Ezine is done you can simply broadcast it using an autoresponder - of course it would only work if the autoresponder you're using has a broadcast feature.

What do you get out of it?
  • Advertising - I mean you can charge other marketers to advertise in your Ezine. This only works if you have a very big list and you are really well known.
  • Target Market - you are sending your reular broadcast to a market that is yours - your subscriber list. This helps you to build rapport, credibility and trust with your list. This way they will follow you more willingly as time progresses so you can get them to buy whatever it is you're promoting.
  • Collaborations and Joint Ventures - online marketers like Ezines so they will look for others who have those. If they feel that you have a good list and have influence over them - because of your Ezine - then they will more likely approach you for joint ventures and the like.
At the end of the day you will be seen more and more as an expert. As more and more people read your Ezine they will spread word of your expertise and credibility and you will find that more and more people will sign up for your list.

And since for internet marketers the list is as valuable as gold, you've hit the bonanza.

Try These Low Cost Tactics To Drive Traffic To Your Site

You have a site.

So do hundreds if not thousands of others.

You're offering a product or service.

So do hundreds if not thousands of others.

And many of them are in the same market as you. So now you're competing for the one commodity that is still relevant in the virtual world as it was in the real world - web traffic.
Simply put, web traffic is your bread-and-butter, the way you can make money with your online business.

Why? Because without traffic no one will come to your site. If no one comes to your site then no one will buy whatever it is you're offering.

It can be the most wonderful product or service in the world but it don't mean squat if there is no one in line to purchase it.

So what do you do?

You make sure your site gets the exposure it needs for people to see where you are and potentially give you a visit.

1. Submit your site to the search engines. Just because a site is online does not necessarily mean the search engines will come a-calling. You need your site to be indexed by the search engines in order to even give it a chance to be seen.

Google has a tool to allow you to submit your site to them to be crawled by their bots to see if it is index worthy.

2. Submit your site to directories. There are directories out there that index sites to make it easier for people to find sites that fit their search description. You can submit to them but better make sure your site is worth adding - many directories have requirements that you need to meet for them to add you to their list.

3. Create content in your site. And that means good quality content, not something that you just put together for the sake of having content. Put in information that visitors may be interested in.

Remember, people go online in order to get information or to have their inquiries answered. Answer their questions and they will come to you.

4. Submit to social bookmarking sites. The content that you have written in your site you can submit to social bookmarking sites like Stumbleupon, DIGG, Diigo and the like. Basically you're sharing your site to the rest of the online world.

5. Write an article and submit to article directories. Follow the same rule as your site content - informative and written for the people who surf the net for answers. With the links going back to your site from the directories you submit to it can help rank your site up in the search engines.

You can do it yourself and it won't cost you much other than time and patience.
